Presented on May 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2005 at the Civic Center Little Theater.  All shows begin at 8:00 PM.  Assigned seats are $18.  A matinee is presented on Sunday, May 15, 2005 at 3:00 PM.

 

 

Overview

 

The Wiz is the classic Wizard of Oz fairy-tale with an all-black cast, rock score, and script with a modern-day twist.  The show originated on Broadway in 1975, became a hit movie in 1978, and returns to Broadway in the Spring of 2005.  The Guild last presented the show in 1986 and was a mega-hit to sold-out audiences.
