Overview

The first summer theatre offering will be Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts’ long running musical comedy revue is about everything you have ever secretly thought regarding dating, romance, marriage, husbands, wives, lovers and in-laws, but were afraid to admit.  Now in its eighth smash year, this delightfully entertaining, charmingly fresh, hopelessly romantic hit is a musical joy ride through the jungle of relationships.

After The Fantasticks, it is the longest-running off-Broadway musical on the boards.  And, since opening, it has become the most proposal-friendly show in New York.  Forty-two times, a young man has taken the stage to make a surprise proposal to his sweetheart.  In all cases, the brides-to-be happily accepted as the audience roared with approval.
